Results with the Rapid Action Metabolism (RAM)

When you watch this video about Rapid Action Metabolism (RAM), it is hard to deny that the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Twins must be on to something special.

This patented system was developed by The “Biggest Loser” Twins, Bill and Jim Germanakos. They are called “The Weight Loss Twins” because they competed on Season 4 of the hit NBC reality TV show. Bill even went on to win the show, capturing the title of “The Biggest Loser”. To accomplish this feat, Bill lost 164 pounds in 8 months.

The Rapid Action Metabolism (RAM) system actually got its start when Jim was voted off the show, and sent home, in week 5. Even though he was now at home, Jim was still determined to continue with his weight loss, and to win the “at home” prize. This was even more difficult than those who were still on the show, because this meant he had to continue to shed weight fast while at home and resuming his full time work as a police officer.

To accomplish this, he came up with was a system for losing weight that constantly fueled his fat-burning metabolism — and became known as the Rapid Action Metabolism. Using this system for rapid weigh loss, Jim went on to lose a total of 186 lbs. This won him the prize of “Biggest Loser” at home, and brought the brothers total weight loss to a whopping 350 lbs - earning them the title of “The Biggest Loser Weight Loss Twins”.

The main components of this system are are geared to speed up your metabolism. Theses components include

  • Specific eating pattern to speed up your metabolism
  • Specific exercise cycle to speed up your metabolism
  • Education to assure you achieve and maintain your results

You can visit their website Rapid Action Metabolism (RAM) for complete details on how this system can help you reach and maintain your weight loss goals.

Just a quick post to let you know that the official launch date for Truth About Diets, the new fitness program by the “Weight Loss Twins” has been pushed back one week. The official launch date is now June 18th, 2009.

The reason for the delay is that they want to make sure everything in the members area is working smoothly. Their intention is to “knock your socks off”. We’ll see :-)

I did get a sneak peak under the hood today, and what I’m seeing is pretty impressive. More on that tomorrow after I’ve had time to thoroughly investigate everything. So, will do an in-depth Truth About Diets review at that time. But, for now, just wanted to update you on the new launch date.

BTW, the guys have posted some new videos on their website at TruthAboutDiets.com, so be sure to check it out.

As is often the case with identical twins, “The Weight Loss Twins”, Bill and Jim Germanakos have always been extremely competitive. And, this competitive nature came in handy and helped Bill win Season 4 of the NBC hit show, “The Biggest Loser”.

Below you can watch a video “pictorial” of their journey from Fat to downright Fabulous!

But, how did they get to the place where they were morbidly obese? They both lived active lifestyles, but due to their Greek heritage, they both loved to eat. And, add to this a father who himself was also extremely overweight.

In fact, their fathers obesity lead to his early death.

Although Jim & Bill’s stories do parallel, there were differing factor that got each one of them involved in “The Biggest Losers”

Bill has been married to his wife, Stephanie, for 15 years, and have 3 beautiful father. The idea that Bill would follow in his father’s footsteps , and the thought that he would not be around to walk his daughter’s down the aisle, haunted him.

Then, a visit to his doctor at age 40, confirmed his fears. He found out that, not only was he morbidly obese, but he also had serious high blood pressure and cholesterol problems which put him at risk for heart disease.

Bill’s mantra on “The Biggest Loser” was: “To become half the man, so that he could be twice the man”. He didn’t quite reach his goal.. he only lost 164 lbs, or 49.1% of his starting weight of 334 lbs! This was enough to be declared the Season 4 Winner of “The Biggest Losers” grand prise of $250,000!

Like Bill, Jim had also let his weight slip out of control. Even though he was a Long Island Police Officer, when he got on the scales for “The Biggest Losers”… he topped out at 364 lbs!

When you visit their TruthAboutDiets website, you can hear Jim tell his heart-wrenching story of the disappointment that finally lead to his decision to do something about his weight.

Even though Jim did get voted off the show in week 5, he kept up his workout and diet at home. He eventually went on to surpass Bill’s weight loss! Jim lost a total of a whopping 186 lbs! This was enough to earn him the “Biggest Loser at Home” runner up prize of $100,000.

Bill & Jim are both now passionate about diet and exercise. Their goal is to “pay it forward” by helping to educate those who also struggle with obesity.. This was their reason for developing the TruthAboutDiets.com
